Cleaning job in Lucerne
Advertisements stating ‘Cleaner wanted’ are a common sight in Lucerne – demand for domestic help remains consistently high. At the same time, expectations vary. Those looking for a cleaner hope to find an affordable option; those doing the cleaning want to be paid a fair wage. It is therefore worth jobseekers being aware of the various ways to find a cleaning job.
Find work through a cleaning agency in Lucerne
You can apply to a cleaning agency in Lucerne, which will then assign you various tasks – from cleaning flats and washing windows to washing up, vacuuming and ironing. It’s convenient because you don’t have to look for jobs yourself. However, you’ll be left with less of your hourly wage, as the cleaning agency takes a cut for arranging the work. So, being self-employed and working for a cleaning company in Lucerne each have their own pros and cons. The ideal solution would be a middle ground: setting your own hourly rate, working hours and location, whilst still finding regular cleaning jobs in Lucerne – without the hassle of running a business or marketing.
Working as a self-employed domestic helper in Lucerne
Taking the step into self-employment is another way to secure cleaning jobs in Lucerne. You can then attract clients via your own website, social media or through word of mouth amongst family and friends. You set your own hourly rate and choose your own clients. However, you should bear in mind that regular work usually only comes about through advertising, and that your website, bookkeeping and other business expenses incur ongoing costs.
