Are the cleaners employed and insured or are these tasks the responsibility of the private client?

On both suuber.ch and batmaid.ch, cleaners and clients do not have to worry about additional insurance.

Apart from the cleaning costs, there are no other charges. The cleaning costs for both portals also include insurance. Registration is free of charge.

What net salary do I receive as a cleaner?

As you are permanently employed by Batmaid, the hourly salary is a matter for negotiation. Depending on your experience, there may be small or large differences. Salaries are generally regarded as fair, although travelling distances are sometimes somewhat longer. The advantage is that sick days are also paid (provided you can produce a certificate).

At suuber.ch, on the other hand, you as the cleaner determine the price for which you offer your service. However, always bear in mind that this will be higher for the end customer (due to insurance and services). In the event of illness, you can postpone or cancel the appointment, depending on the agreement you make with the employer (the respective client). However, payment will only be made for hours worked.

Is registration free of charge and are there any additional costs?

Both registration and continued use are free of charge. At Batmaid you are directly employed as a cleaner, whereas at SUUBER you work with various customers. However, the administrative work can be easily handled directly via the platform at suuber.ch.
